Sky Painting & Decorating created this Porter’s French Wash feature wall in a St Clair living room. The deep blue decorative finish adds subtle tonal movement behind the sofa and artwork, with lighter and darker areas that become more visible in the daylight from the adjoining window.
The photographs show both the application and the completed room. During the work, the surrounding edges were masked and the timber floor was protected with drop sheets. The progress image shows the decorative layer being worked across the blue base, while the close-up photograph captures the variation in the finished surface.
In the completed living room, the blue wall contrasts with warm red seating, curtains and orange-toned artwork. The wide photographs show how the feature wall sits within the room; the detail image provides a closer look at the French Wash effect. The gallery includes an in-progress photograph, rather than an original before-painting image.
For a French Wash feature wall in St Clair or Western Sydney, send Victor your wall photographs, approximate dimensions and colour references. A site inspection helps confirm the existing surface condition, preparation, access and decorative finish scope before an itemised quote is prepared.
