Sky Painting & Decorating completed exterior and metal roof painting at this weatherboard home in Stanmore, in Sydney’s Inner West. The work brought together the corrugated metal roofing and exterior paintwork, with grey weatherboards and contrasting white verandah and window details.
Taubmans All Weather was used on the exterior walls, and Dulux Acratex Metal Roof Renew was used on the metal roof. The photographs show the corrugated roof and curved verandah awning, the front facade, and closer views of the weatherboards and trim. The gable details and white balustrade provide a clear contrast against the grey exterior.
The gallery also documents the work in progress. Masked window panes, protective coverings and spray equipment can be seen in the side and rear photographs. A narrow side passage and the higher rear wall show the different access conditions around the house. These images record the painting stages alongside the later front views.
The front photographs show the completed exterior paintwork with some equipment and household items still on site. The earlier photographs are progress views, rather than a matched set of unpainted before images.
