Sky Painting & Decorating transformed this living-room feature wall in Merrylands with Porter's French Wash. The finished wall combines deep teal and green tones with a soft, layered decorative effect, creating a focal point behind the television and complementing the room's blue upholstery and timber furniture.
The project gallery documents the transformation from the original flat green wall through surface preparation and a pale blue basecoat to the completed French Wash finish. Preparation included patching visible imperfections and protecting the surrounding edges before the decorative finish was applied.
The before-and-after comparison shows the change in the same room, while the close-up photographs reveal the colour variation and hand-worked appearance across the wall. These are photographs of our actual Merrylands project.
